Developer Summit 2009 will be held at Meguro Gajoen on the upcoming February 12th and 13th.

In particular, don't miss the OpenSocial Panel Discussion: Big Predictions for "What's Next" in 2009, the Inaugural Year of OpenSocial Adoption, starting at 17:40 on the 12th.

Alongside Yoichiro Tanaka, who recently authored "Introduction to OpenSocial," Yusuke Kawasaki from Recruit, Hiroyuki Koyama from mixi, and Naoki Ishihara, Shumpei Shiraishi, and Rin Yano from Google, I will also be taking the stage as a panelist.

This year marks what could be called the dawn of OpenSocial in Japan, with multiple platforms such as mixi, goo, and OpenPNE finally becoming available. We plan to discuss the role OpenSocial will play for the web going forward. If you are interested, please come and join us.
