I will be speaking at the Aizu IT Summer Forum, held at the University of Aizu on September 18th. In my session, I plan to cover a rather niche topic: "The Architecture of OpenSocial."

Also, taking advantage of the trip to Aizu, we will be hosting an OpenSocial Hackathon the following day on the 19th, which will also double as a caravan stop for Mashup Awards5.

Yoichiro Tanaka from mixi, author of Introduction to OpenSocial, and Yusuke Kawasaki from MTL will also be participating. This is a rare opportunity for locals, so please consider joining us!
