I developed FriendIntroducer as an experiment to understand how FriendConnect differs from ordinary OpenSocial implementations. This time, I tried developing a gadget that showcases what makes FriendConnect interesting: Footprints. If you've used MyBlogLog before, you'll already be familiar with the concept.

What is Footprints? #

Footprints is a gadget that tracks visitors to your blog. Take a look at the gadget at the bottom left. If you haven't joined or signed in yet, try doing so to see how it works.

As you might imagine, this gadget records visitors and their visit times. When viewed by others, it displays a timestamp showing how long ago you visited. You can also remove your own footprint if you wish. The XML is located at:
